ENVIRONMENTAL Street Furniture (ESF), based in Greater Belfast, has been contracted by Canary Wharf Group PLC to provide pedestrian barriers to secure the Winter Lights Festival in London, which is now in its fourth year and runs from Tuesday 16th January until Saturday 27th January.

A spectacular display of light installations and interactive art that takes place in Canary Wharf, London, it is an amalgam of sculptures, structures and installations that are the creations of some of the most innovative artists and designers around today, presenting work in different forms of light technology.

ESF, a global designer and supplier of street furniture and site furnishing products, has recently added branded and themed retractable barriers to their comprehensive ‘Style Collection’ range.

Alan Lowry, Managing Director of ESF said, “We were delighted to have won this contract to supply our new range of barriers for the wonderful Winter Lights festival. The retractable barriers play an integral part in the festival by securing the lighting structures and installations that are located throughout Canary Wharf ensuring not only the installations are secure, but the public are too.
