Satellite Park Bench

Overview

As if a plate fell straight out of the sky and fingers of a cosmic architect stuck it into the surface. That’s how unearthly the unique shape of this bench feels. Although it is obvious that it is made of heavy concrete, it appears almost insubstantial. Elegant concave shape is not just for decoration, it is functional too. It brings privacy to two people and it virtually protects them from the outside world. Noise and wind have no chance. It can completely transform a variety of locations, from parks or city squares to waterfronts. Its design excels in both open spaces and in small closed corners.

Supporting concave body creating exceeding backrest is made of concrete and is invisibly anchored below the surface. A cantilever seat is made of solid hardwood lamellas supported by steel frame.
