The Met Office at Exeter took just over 2 years to build and was completed in December 2003 costing in the region of £84 million for construction. Initial discussions with the Met Office took place late 2002, with the approach on a modern exterior for the new Headquarters and Operations Centre, with the emphasis on Stainless Steel. Stainless Steel was chosen to complete the overall effect of the exterior fittings where we supplied over 100 bollards. The seats were also chosen to keep the emphasis on the modern look and over 30 were supplied.
