ESF supplied a range of new BriteBins that were installed in Antrim and Newtownabbey counties by our team at ESF secure.
Environmental Street Furniture, in partnership with PEL Manufacturing, recently won the tender with Antrim & Newtownabbey Council to supply and install solar powered compacting litter bins to 2 prime locations in the council area.
14 of the innovative ‘ESF BriteBins’ solar powered compacting bins were installed in February at Lough Shore Antrim Forum, and Lough Shore Newtownabbey.
The ‘ESF Britebins’ hold up to 10 times their usual volume due to a very complex internal compacting system and they are all connected via Wifi to trigger any maintenance to operational requirements.
The internal reporting information is sent to a dashboard and will allow the council to only attend and empty the bins when they are full, and also give them details on usage to allow for better urban litter planning
Following this successful installation, ESF are keen to roll these out to all the other councils in Northern Ireland and further afield
